SOVIET ZION tells the story of an American and a European family who just before the war each move to Siberia participating in the real-life movement to create there a Yiddish-speaking, Socialist utopia.

Challenged by the unexpected realities they face,

great sacrifice must be made to achieve the freedom they seek.

Set against a grand historical backdrop, the stories of their intertwining lives explore questions of identity, integrity, belonging and nationhood

and offer a glimpse into what happened to this alternative homeland.

Available both in English and Yiddish.
